Congressman / suspected domestic terrorist Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) implies Rachel Maddow is scared of having him on her show.
Cawthorn retweeted a Fox News story that suggested a Maddow producer wondered about Cawthorn’s motivations for getting on her show:
Whoopsies @MSNBC! https://t.co/zKmJ0tHHIX

Cawthorn later asked what Maddow was afraid of:
What is @maddow afraid of? https://t.co/ZC7Hf8whGl

Rachel Maddow may be scared of something, but it’s not Madison Cawthorn unless Cawthorn incites one of his domestic terrorist cells to attack her.
Rachel Maddow can’t get Republicans to come on her show.
Republicans avoid Rachel Maddow at all costs. You won’t appear on their MSNBC show. She has stated several times that she tried to get Republicans to speak to her, but the vast majority of them refuse.
It has been suggested by former NBC executives that Republicans’ refusal to be interviewed by Maddow made them “too partisan” to be considered for the role of host of Meet The Press.
Rachel Maddow would like to have elected Republicans like Madison Cawthorn on her show. The problem is, and PoliticusUSA knows from personal experience, unless the point of sale is deemed “friendly”, most Republicans in Congress will either turn down requests or refuse to respond.
Cawthorn is scared of leaving his conservative media bubble, not Rachel Maddow. The MSNBC host would likely invite him for an interview, but if she asked, chances are he would refuse.
