It’s been another interesting week at Nintendo Life as we all move towards the holiday season. We learned that you can pump iron in Animal Crossing, there was a welcome new look at triangle strategy, someone beat Pokémon Shining Pearl in 23 minutes, Qualcomm unveiled a portable developer device that’s a bit like a Switch, while Nintendo made the Switch even more stable and confirms that Paper Mario will be available soon for the N64 Switch Online Expansion Pack App.

However, now is the time to relax and discuss our weekend fixtures. Some members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to read our posts and then join in with your own via our comments section. Enjoy!

I recently picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and enjoyed the 90s style story and button mashing; it’s fun without necessarily being a particularly good game, if that makes sense. I also work through Batman: The Telltale Seriesthat has been solid so far.

I’ve enjoyed more of it elsewhere Forza Horizon 5, and I’ll keep working my way Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

A friend of mine told me that I have a game called “Tux and Fanny“. I trust this mate’s taste, so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing this weekend. I don’t know anything about this game other than the fact that it’s about inflating a football again and that it holds a lot of secrets. Sounds fascinating,” Is not it?

Hello, everyone! As always, I play the latest releases like The House of the Dead 2 & 3 return for Nintendo Wii. House of the Dead 2 is one of my all-time favorite rail shooters, and it’s been way too long since I’ve played through it. I’m sure the upcoming Switch remake of the first game will be all sorts of “okay”, but I can’t see anything that best beats the Campy fun of Dreamcasts – especially with the accuracy of the Wii remote alignment.

Besides, I slowly dug my way through Danganronpa decade. I played the original on PlayStation Vita and absolutely loved it, I just never found the time to try out the sequels. Danganronpa 2 is very similar in terms of formula so it’s nice to have a little break between them, but it feels good to be back in this world. Murder has never been so cozy.

Hello folks! This weekend is all about Danganronpa; A few years ago I played the first two games on the Vita, but unfortunately sold the console shortly afterwards (bad decision on my part). I later downloaded them to the PS4, but I’ve found the games to be much more accessible and engaging on handheld devices. So I can’t wait to dive back in!

Otherwise, I’ll jump up in a couple of matches Halo infinite here and there. I’ve kept my promise to leave the game by the time the campaign starts, for the most part, but I just can’t resist one or two big team fights!

This weekend at Shiryu Games:

Package from the Far East means that I can finally enjoy some Sega Saturn action on the Switch with the Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute Trio. Ultra age grows on me too, but I hope to find the time to go to court The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Still addicted Geometry Wars: Galaxies even! We really need this franchise on the Switch …

Is game of the week Archvale. I think never too late to post a GOTY candidate.

As always, thanks for reading! Leave us a comment below with your weekend fixtures!
