D&D: Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix removes the void from the main menu, but not your heart

Like many others, I’ve been waiting to dive into Baldur’s Gate 3 until the D&D game pops up from Early Access. But in the meantime, I’m enjoying developer Larian’s patch notes for the game, where even the smallest hotfixes are usually delivered in an extremely fun way. After the end of the electric slide, we now get a gap distance.

“This week we’re answering the question, ‘Who Stole Heaven?’ The answer may surprise you in that the Shattered Sanctum apparently did, “the developers explain in the Hotfix 19 announcement.” This is no clue-level secret, but these precious clouds have finally been returned in this particular case. Let’s hope that in the foreseeable future no one else tries to drive away our beautiful clouds as the captain planet villain. “

So yes, a bug that previously replaced the sky in the main menu with a non-functional void has now been corrected. You will also find that the people at Duergar Camp “are no longer caught in an endless loop of dialog about explosive powder”.

There are also a handful of fixes for crashes and interface issues, but these are hardly fun to tell.

The Baldur’s Gate 3 release date is still set to “when it’s ready”. For more RPG games to try out in the meantime, you can follow this link.
