Drew Peterson continues to protest his innocence following his conviction of murder Kathleen Savio.
In a preview of Dateline’s exclusive interview, which will air on Friday November 19, Peterson claims he was wrongly convicted of the death of his late ex-wife Kathleen, whose remains were found in a bathtub in March 2004.
During his interview with NBC’s Natalie Morales, Peterson alleged that prosecutors attached Kathleen’s death to him, saying, “The prosecution is fabricating facts. The prosecution staged an indictment with Kathy. You had an accident and staged an indictment making me look bad, okay? They twist it so that their accusation or whatever they are going to say against me works. “
And when Morales asked Peterson about allegations that he “checked” and “threatened” Savio and his other partners, including his missing wife, Stacy Petersonclaims the ex-cop, “I was a loving husband, okay? I was what can I say? I was a good husband, a good provider.”
