WSJ.com: Markets

Wall Street indices opened higher after ending their weekly winning streak. We observe the following in trading on Monday:

  • Royal Dutch Shell’s US-traded shares rose after the energy company announced it would scrap its dual-share structure and move its tax domicile to the UK. It also removes the “Royal Dutch” from its name.
  • Activist investor Mantle Ridge has at least $ 1.8 billion in Dollar Tree and plans to get the discounter to take action to increase its share price.

Elon Musk sold roughly $ 6.9 billion worth of Tesla shares last week.
