MP Lauren Boebert mocked the far-left ‘Squad’ member AOC with a dress that read “Let’s Go Brandon” when she met former President Trump on Thursday at his resort in Mar-a-Lago.

The dress design was a not-so-subtle hit on the dress Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) wore to the Met Gala last month, where she drew the crowd in a designer dress with the words “Tax The Rich” on the back withdrew.

Boebert (R-CO) showed off her dress in a pose similar to the AOC’s viral image and stood next to Trump, who showed his signature thumbs up.

Her dress, however, was a bright red with white lettering, probably a deliberate move to symbolize both GOP red and the fact that she is the opposite of AOC.

Boebert tweeted the picture with the words: “It’s not a sentence, it’s a movement.”

Boebert: Let’s go Brandon!

Judging from the election results earlier this week, America seems more in line with Boebert’s “Let’s Go Brandon” message than AOC’s “Tax the Rich” slogan.

“Let’s Go Brandon,” for those who have lived under a rock for the past few months, is a euphemism for the more vulgar phrase – “F *** Joe Biden”.

While Boebert can probably go the way when it comes to her message, AOC struggled mightily with hers and debuted her at an event attended exclusively by the super-rich that had her dress designed by someone who, ironically, owes many unpaid taxes .

Not to mention, the Colorado Republican’s dress looks a lot less like a chick-fil-a-bag.

It’s a movement

Aside from Boebert’s dress, the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” pops up everywhere, a cultural phenomenon that grips the nation.

It has been shown at sporting events. It has been shown at award ceremonies. It showed up in Congress. And it has now shown up on products sold by arms dealers.

Songs with the phrase were also at the top of the charts.

Last week, the top track on iTunes was “Let’s Go Brandon (feat. Tyson James & Chandler Crump)” by Bryson Gray, a song that was originally banned from YouTube and Instagram.

“The phrase has spread like wildfire on social media and the internet for two main reasons,” explains BGR News.

“One is that … the phase serves as a kind of euphemistic substitute for a more vulgar insult to President Biden,” they continue. “Tell a Biden reviewer ‘let’s go Brandon’ and he or she will know exactly what you mean.”

Boebert posted a video last week listening to Gray’s song “Let’s Go Brandon”.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently poked fun at the “Brandon Administration” and caused the crowd to break into a “Let’s Go Brandon” chant at his press conference.

“If you look at what is going on at some of the big corporations with their bright agendas,” DeSantis said. “If you look at the Biden – the Brandon administration.”

Those present broke out almost immediately.
