Kylie Jenner has issued a statement expressing condolences to the victims of the tragedy of the Astroworld Festival while at the same time supporting its founder and her partner, Travis Scottwho has come under fire for not stopping the show sooner.
Police said eight people, including one aged 14, died and dozens were injured after an overcrowded and chaotic crowd flooded the stage at the rapper’s concert in his hometown of Houston. The case is being investigated further. Kylie, who is pregnant, attended the show with her and Travis’ 3-year-old daughter. Stormi Webster, and sister Kendall Jenner, and all three, typically accompanied by bodyguards, were unharmed.
“Travis and I are devastated and devastated,” said Kylie, 24, in a statement posted on her Instagram story on Saturday night, November 6th. “My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has lost their life, hurt or affected anyway [sic] through yesterday’s events. And also for Travis, who I know cares a lot about his fans and the Houston community. “
