The 2022 Winter Olympics will be hosted in Beijing, China. Qualification for the event will begin in December 2021.

At the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, White was nicknamed “The Flying Tomato” because of his angry red hair. In his first run of the finals, White showed two 1,080 ° airs (three full turns) on the front of the pipe and a backside 900, securing the gold medal.

White successfully defended his title at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, where he performed his latest signature move; a double McTwist 1260.
