Rudy Giuliani claimed he was only following orders when representing Donald Trump in election fraud proceedings.
Rudy Giuliani now says that he ordered him to stand in for him
About Business Insider:
In a recently released transcript, Coomer’s attorney Charles Cain Giuliani asked if he was ever paid to represent the Trump campaign. Cain noted that Giuliani said in a sweaty, conspiracy press conference on November 19 that he represents both Trump personally and the Trump campaign.
Giuliani replied that he was not paid to represent the campaign and, according to the transcript, only had his expenses reimbursed. Cain then asked Giuliani why he would represent the Trump campaign without compensation.
“The President – the President ordered me to do it,” replied Giuliani.
Giuliani tries to blame Trump for the big lie
Rudy Giuliani is already broke and is under investigation by the Federal Criminal Police, but it appears he is trying to break free of any legal liability for the Big Lie by blaming Donald Trump for everything.
By claiming he wasn’t paid, Giuliani may also be trying to argue that he really wasn’t Donald Trump’s attorney.
The Trump administration wasn’t the military. Rudy Giuliani was a private citizen. If Trump had “ordered” him to act as his lawyer, Giuliani could have told him to kick sand.
The Trumpers turn each other on. Donald Trump hung up Rudy Guiliani to dry and Trump’s former attorney is trying to avoid a more than $ 2 billion lawsuit by accusing the former president.
