The open-world Stardew Valley-like Harvest Days now has a demo on Steam

Stardew Valley is an open-end sandbox game with a big world to explore, but it doesn’t quite scratch like a big open world game that promises limitless secrets on the horizon. Harvest Days aims to bring these styles of gameplay together and its ambition has been staggering every time we’ve seen it – and now you can play it for yourself.

Harvest Days now has a free demo on Steam that will be available from today until the Kickstarter campaign ends on September 30th. The game is being developed by a father-and-son development team at Family Devs and is slated for Early Access in the second quarter of 2022, before a final release later in the year.

If you haven’t seen it already, Harvest Days has everything you would expect in a farming RPG – growing crops, building relationships with townspeople, and caring for animals – but it also features a larger, three-dimensional world with ruins to explore, swamps to dare and discover secrets, as well as a wide variety of vehicles to get you around.
