Attorneys for former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg expect further criminal charges to be filed against him.
“We have good reason to believe there may be more charges,” said Bryan Skarlatos at a hearing in the New York State Supreme Court.
The Manhattan investigation appears to be nearing completion. Donald Trump has shown time and time again that he is not loyal to anyone around him, no matter how many years of service they have done to himself and his business.
Weisselberg may think he can stand up to the initial charges, but further charges would put pressure on him to attack Trump and the Trump family.
Prosecutors have mountains of evidence against Trump. They want Allen Weisselberg to testify, and if he doesn’t, he could spend the rest of his life in jail.
