Nintendo’s global marketing campaign for Metroid Dread continues

The release of Metroid horror It’s getting closer and closer and it seems that it’s not only Japan that is behind MercurySteam’s upcoming Nintendo Switch release.

Over in Mexico – a large billboard was spotted leaving some fans of the famous intergalactic bounty hunter in a state of disbelief. Again, this is the conclusion of the original Metroid saga we’re talking about here – no big hitters like Super Mario, The legend of Zelda, or Deer crossing. It’s a series that some think hasn’t received enough attention over the years, so it’s fantastic to see this type of commercial pop up.

Perhaps Nintendo is confident following the game’s pre-release success – with the title topping the bestseller and pre-order charts just days after it was announced. In addition to banners that are posted in many different locations around the world, Nintendo has also promoted Metroid Dread with reports and social media posts.
