Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ album, released in 2011, returns to the top 10 on Billboard’s top album sales chart for the first time in over a decade. Thanks to the release of the CD and cassette editions of the special new edition of the album for the 10th anniversary on September 3, the set comes back to number 10 on the list.

In the week ending September 9, ‘Born This Way’ sold 5,000 copies in the United States, up 5,251 percent, according to MRC Data. About 100 copies had been sold the week before, as reported on Billboard.com.

Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ was originally released on May 23, 2011 and debuted at number 1 on the chart dated June 18, 2011. It was last in the top 10 on the list on July 23, 2011. The album was reissued on June 26, 2021 via digital retailers and streaming services with six additional tracks from other artists covering the songs on the album. The CD and cassette editions of the new edition followed on September 3rd, while a vinyl LP release is expected on December 10th.

After Lady Gaga’s # 1 next to # 1 in top album sales, veteran hard rock band Iron Maiden claim their first leader as the act’s latest studio work, Senjutsu, sold just over 61,000 Copies on CD, vinyl LP and digital downloads begins.

Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” starts at number 2 in top album sales with 46,000 copies sold exclusively via digital downloads. It’s Drake’s 12th top 10 overall.

Olivia Rodrigo’s former No. 1 ‘Sour’ is a 3rd non-mover with 20,000.

“Born This Way” was Lady Gaga’s second full-length album, which dealt with electronic rock and techno-pop and sold more than a million copies in the first week.

In 2012, she founded the Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to empower youth, improve mental health, and prevent bullying.
