The new Razer gaming chair is cheaper and named for its gaming headsets

The Razer Iskur got a pretty shiny rating for the brand’s very first gaming seat, but at $ 499 / $ 499, it’s significantly more expensive than the Secretlab Omega. Fortunately, the best gaming chair just got a little more competition, with Razer’s newly unveiled Iskur X Racing bucket – think of it as a cheaper “lite” version of the current model that follows the same naming conventions as the snake-headed company’s best Gaming headsets like the Razer Kraken X.

With an MSRP of $ 399 / $ 399, the price is similar to Secretlab’s option and at first glance it looks almost identical to its more expensive sibling. It has the same green and black faux leather design, along with an identical weight of 136 kg.

There are a few differences, however. It replaces the versatile 4D armrests with 2D versions that only adjust in height and not in direction or angle, and dispenses with the Iskur’s excellent lumbar support. There’s a pillow that sells separately for $ 49.99, but at this point you’re spending almost as much as the Iskur for $ 499.

If you can’t sit at your desk for hours and do without the few ergonomic features that are unique to the premium Iskur, you can put the money you save on the Iskur X into the best gaming keyboard instead.

The model is available now in the Razer Store. However, we would wait until the chair is in the hands of the reviewers before jumping on it.
