Iron Harvest releases the expansion “Operation Eagle” on the PC

GAMES – HappyGamer

Iron Harvest is a unique RTS game that tells an alternate version of World War I. By adding steampunk technology, the title brings players to the battlefield with the aim of conquering other lands. Control armies, destroy your enemies and experience the change of an era up close.

This game has released its new Operation Eagle expansion that adds the Diesel Punk Airships to the Iron Harvest battlefield. This is the first major add-on for the game and features flying units, new multiplayer maps, and a full single player and co-op campaign for the game’s community.

As the Great War continues to plague Europe, the American nation of Usonia joins the conflict. By strengthening its industry, professionalizing its army and perfecting its air force, Usonia is ready to take its place on the world stage.

This new operation expands Iron Harvest’s already massive title by adding an entirely new faction. The American Union of Usonia has so far stayed out of the Great War.

This went unnoticed by many European nations, but that hasn’t stopped it from becoming an economic and military powerhouse.

The Army of Usonia is bringing powerful “Diesel Birds” to the battlefield along with other new buildings and units for all factions. This improves on Iron Harvest’s core roster, and gives players more choices to defend and attack in this RTS experience.

At its core, the game adds over 20 new units, an entire campaign, three playable heroes and new playable allies from Arabia. Airborne units will be available to all factions as well as air defense, and new multiple maps have surfaced.

Dozens of new skins and seasons are planned for this unique title, and players are sure to find plenty of opportunities in the future of the game. This new DLC is available for purchase and, as usual, requires a copy of the main game to be enjoyed.

Overall, Iron Harvest is a war game best suited for tactically savvy players. While the game is aimed at teens and adults alike, players who accept the horrors of war can enjoy this title at a younger age as well.

It should be noted that Iron Harvest is a fictional replica of the war and is not an exact story. The game can be found on both steam and GOG along with their brand new DLC expansion.
