Stephen Miller calls Hillary Clinton a “criminal” for undermining belief in Trump

People often attribute the quote; “Blame the other side of what you owe” to Joseph Goebbels and although historians are divided as to whether Goebbels ever used the quote in a speech and part of the confusion stems from the fact that it is so common and obvious Tactic is. Indeed, Stephen Miller made his best “Goebbel impression” yesterday when he accused Hillary Clinton of “trying to overthrow democracy”. Miller said Clinton’s charge against Maddow earlier this week that Russia helped Trump win the 2016 elections was “criminal.”

The US intelligence services were and are unanimous in their assessment that Russia actually interfered in our 2016 elections by working to promote Trump. But that didn’t stop Miller from being mad at Fox News primetime guest host Sean Duffy:

“Hillary Clinton complaining about disinformation is like Bernie Madoff complaining about honest bookkeeping.”

“The truth is that Hillary Clinton was the only disinformation provider in our country’s history.

What it did to this democracy, what it did to President Trump, what it did to the government, for four years to our nation by selling this Russia collusion hoax, that is criminal. “

What Hillary Clinton actually did was call Donald Trump on the night of the 2016 election and admit because of her belief in the strength of U.S. democracy, a concession Trump hasn’t made in over a year while still maintaining the confidence destroyed in our elections. As for “Russian collusion hoaxes,” it all seems to boil down to how one defines collusion. Paul Manafort no doubt leaked critical internal survey data to oligarchs with links to Putin, and Roger Stone never had to tell the truth about what he told Trump about WikiLeaks.

Duffy went on to say that it was amazing that Hillary was still walking around and not in jail – like there wasn’t anyone to indict her for four years, and Miller stepped in again:

Let’s call it what it is.

This was an attempt to overthrow democracy. This was an attempt to delegitimize and destroy the duly elected President of the United States.

I cannot say this with enough seriousness, sincerity, or seriousness. What she did was criminal, and it is a threat to the very survival of the American system of government, if you can go to a foreign spy and get foreign lies from a foreign nation trying to undermine our democracy. It must, must, it must finally be accountable. “

Then we call that what it is, a desperate new PR campaign sponsored by people who woke up yesterday to the news that their January 6 rally was the kind of operation that burner phones required and deep in reached into the White House. Trump’s intransigence in undermining the 2020 election looks more like a criminal conspiracy with each news cycle. The revelations speak for themselves, “burner phones”. The only real defense of the Trump camp is to say that all of this has been done before by Hillary and no one has thrown her in jail.

In a way, it’s nice to hear Hillary is a criminal again. It means they feel the walls close. Plus, relying on Stephen Miller as a PR spokesperson is always a bad sign. Desperate times call for desperate action, and Stephen Miller was clearly desperate.
