Nintendo Switch OLED pre-orders go live in Japan later this month

In addition to the publication of Metroid horror Next month Nintendo will be releasing its brand new Switch OLED model.

This slightly updated system has a new screen, wider stand, and a number of other minor improvements. Although it’s been available for pre-order in the West for a while, Nintendo has only just set the pre-order dates for its Japanese launch.

Fans at this location will be able to pre-order the new system in video game, Nintendo and online stores later this month on September 24 for 37,980 yen.

When pre-orders for the new system originally went online in the US, it wasn’t long before scalpers started selling the device on sites like eBay at much higher prices.
