A mattress in a box was voted the best in Australia for 2021 after hundreds of buyers voted for their favorite brands in the market.

Domestic furniture label Koala prevailed against strong competition from Sealy, SleepMaker, King Koil and IKEA and was crowned number one mattress brand in the annual Canstar Blue review.

More than 800 consumers were asked to rate the mattresses for comfort, support, sleep quality, durability, value for money and overall satisfaction.

Of the mattresses tested, Koala took the lead after receiving a perfect five-star rating in all categories – including comfort, sleep quality and value for money.

With more than 25,000 five-star reviews online, many shoppers have claimed that the mattress provides a good night’s sleep all year round and “basically feels like a luxury five-star hotel bed.”
