Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had blinded their fans when they were in a relationship. The couple announced their split back in 2016, which led to a major breakdown on social media and among fans. In 2019, Pitt and Jolie were finally granted divorce.

Angelina Jolie added Brad Pitt’s name to her last name after their wedding in August 2014. In 2019, however, the actress officially removed Pitt’s name from her last name. Court documents obtained from ET indicated that the Lara Croft actress had officially removed “Pitt” from her name.

The decision to change her name came as Jolie was preparing to return to the big screen in the second part of Maleficent. She had also previously revealed that she would be open to a possible future in politics in the United States.

Court documents received from ET also indicated that this was the second time Brad Pitt’s ex-wife Angelina Jolie dropped a surname through a court motion. Jolie had previously deleted the surname of her strange father “Voight” from her name.

After their breakup made headlines, Jolie fell silent, but Pitt spoke about their breakup in a 2017 interview with GQ. He said, “We’re both doing our best. I heard a lawyer say, “Nobody wins in court – it just comes down to who gets hurt worse,” he said. “And it seems to be true, you spend a year just focusing on building a case, proving your point and proving why you’re right and why you’re wrong, and it’s just an investment in vicious hatred.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met on the set of the movie Mr and Mrs. Smith they worked on together. They have six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara. Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.
