Kevin McCarthy throws a fit and pulls all of his tips off the 1/6 committee

Minority leader Kevin McCarthy responded to 1/6 Committee spokesman Pelosi blocking Jim Jordan by pulling all of his picks.

Kevin McCarthy responded by pulling all 5 of his GOP picks off the committee.

The committee is also tasked with investigating the January 6 riot fueled by the same lie he told about voter fraud when he voted to cancel the presidential election.

Kevin McCarthy is furious because Pelosi spokesman does not allow Trump to vote in committee.

Three of McCarthy’s five House Elections Committee elections were Republicans who voted against confirming President Biden’s presidential victory. McCarthy also made his choice between Reps after consulting with former President Donald Trump. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Jim Banks.

McCarthy sends the message that if Spokesman Pelosi doesn’t allow him to turn the investigation into a circus of conspiracy theories and distractions, he’ll take his ball and go home.

Spokeswoman Pelosi already has a Republican on the committee (Rep. Liz Cheney). The committee is bipartisan and has the majority required to begin its work.

Spokesman Pelosi resigned the law and now minority leader McCarthy will complain that the investigation is “partial” because the spokesman would not allow him to add conspiracy theorists worshiping Trump to destroy the investigation.
