So far, if you thought Rust was an assault on your ears, wait until you’re immersed in a game with the new Voice Prop DLC. There are megaphones, loudspeakers and cell phones. It’s chaos. Total, total chaos.
Now imagine that the DLC arrived as originally intended: with the ability for players to play custom URLs via the various props. Yes. That’s every url on the internet. When you think about it, it’s no surprise that it was turned off at the last second.
This month’s update brings an updated wound system, Nvidia DLSS, landscape tunnel entrances, monument AI, voice prop DLC, birds, enhancements and more! Https: //t.co/LlRgLKvcGM

Whether or not players can play what they want through the voice props, the DLC is still great fun. Blasting the macarena at full volume while attacking someone’s base is just plain rust.
There is a select library of sounds and music to play with, chosen (somewhat selectively) by the developers. For example, you can also extend your own voice using the megaphone. Midnight crooning is much easier now.
Organic situations and exhilaration are what Rust does best. The chance encounters between strangers (if you manage to overcome the spawn) is why the game remains popular on consoles, despite its common mistakes and usually rather terrible performance.
The Voice Props come as DLC rather than a free upgrade, although there are many other updates besides their introduction to the game.
One thing that caught my eye is the new wound system. Right now it’s completely broken. You go down, crawl away, you get up, and whatever you do, you’re always wounded. Blood covers the screen and there is nothing you can do. You move at a snail’s pace until you die again. Broken. Completely broken.
New AI is now in the monuments at Trainyard and Airfield, those pesky scientists are back to make these areas a little harder to manage. According to the official patch notes, this AI will be added to other monuments in the future.
There are some other new changes as well, including DLSS support, birds flying from trees during all the new mess, you can turn a rowboat a lot easier than before, and the AI has been improved across the board to make up for it how buggy things can get on a busy server.
