47-year-old Evangelia Psarra secured a spot for her sixth Olympic Games after qualifying in a formidable archery.
She defeated Ilyassova Alina to secure a place in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which will be held from July 23 to August 8.

Psarra joined the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki archery club in 1994 and has been practicing this sport professionally ever since.
Her best placement at a world championship in 2003 was a bronze medal.
At her first Olympic Games in 2000, she lost to Natalia Bolotova in the round of 16 and finished in 41st place.
Four years later, Psarra reached seventh place in the individual competition and fifth with the team at the 2004 Summer Games.
At the 2008 Beijing Games. she lost to Chen Ling in the round of 32 to finish 48.
In London 2012 she reached 33rd place.
