Acclaimed talk show host and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey found herself on the other side of the microphone for a change when she recently appeared on Hollywood star Drew Barrymore’s chat show.
On “The Drew Barrymore Show” Winfrey opened up about dealing with trauma. “I know for a fact that whatever happened to you can be for you too. I endured suffering to survive as a child and turned it upside down, ”she said.
Oprah Winfrey said she started a school looking for girls who are like her.
“That’s why I started my school specifically to look for girls who are just like me. Girls who came from poor backgrounds, who came from dysfunctional backgrounds and who often felt undesirable. I thought how do I create an environment for them, how do I give something back. So save yourself! ”Said Oprah Winfrey on the show that airs at Zee Cafe in India.
