Tiny Tina leads the narrative through Wonderlands, a fantasy-themed Borderlands game (with that well-known cel-shaded art style) that was unveiled at Summer Game Fest 2021. There are machine guns, dragons and we even spied on a shark with arms.
It’s basically a fantasy version of the looter shooter genre, with some similarities to Borderlands, although it really has nothing to do with Borderlands. May be. Somehow. Different from it basically is Borderlands. Expect the same kind of weird humor and narration from Wonderlands.

The game will be released in early 2022 and comes from transmission and 2K. The mechanics include sorcery, revolver throwing, and you will likely be able to blow up dragons with rocket launchers. It’s going to happen Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5.
It is clear that this is a rich version of Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep, the D&D style expansion of Borderlands 2. You will control a range of characters voiced by some famous names: Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes and Will Arnett. Ashly Burch is back to speak to Tiny Tina herself.
Tina will guide your characters through dungeons and environments (likely) that appeal to D & D’s fantasy nerdity. It will be interesting to see which way the story goes compared to Borderlands.
According to Polygon, the founder of Gearbox (Randy Pitchford) says the game has been in development for about 10 years, although it has fluctuated in and out of development during that time. Bringing the style of Borderlands into the fantasy genre has long been a desire.
This is going to be a fantasy game in every sense of the word: skeletons, goblins, dragons and much more. The galaxy’s “deadliest thirteen-year-old” is likely to take you on some pretty twisted journeys.
Wonderlands will be similar to Borderlands in that there are separate classes, co-op gameplay, and repeatable endgame content to keep players entertained.
