Former President Donald Trump has Dr. Anthony Fauci confronted after posting his emails written in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fauci’s emails were released following a request from Buzzfeed under the Freedom of Information Act.

Trump’s statement claims that US funding for the Wuhan laboratory began in 2014 under the Obama administration but ended during the Trump administration.

In the statement, Trump continued: “What did Dr. Fauci on the research on functional gain and when did he know? “

Fauci’s emails were dated from March to April 2020.

In the emails, Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Diseases, was told by a scientist that the COVID-19 virus looked “possibly” constructed.

Where Trump was right

President Trump’s statement recorded some of the measures he had taken in the early days of the pandemic. On January 31, 2020, Trump imposed a travel ban on people coming from China. Every US citizen returning from China would face a 14-day quarantine.

Part of Trump’s statement is in part: “After seeing the emails, our country is happy that I didn’t do what Dr. Fauci wanted from me. ”Trump says Fauci was against closing US borders to Chinese citizens, and at the time Trump was vilified by the media who labeled him a“ xenophobia ”.

However, that early move turned out to be one that likely saved lives. In March 2020, Fauci admitted that the travel ban from China most likely slowed the spread of the virus.

Trump’s statement also stated that he felt that Dr. Fauci didn’t put much emphasis on speeding up vaccine production, thinking the process would take up to five years.

Trump’s statement also speaks of Fauci’s flip-flops on the effectiveness of wearing masks, “Dr. Fauci was totally against masks, although I thought they would at least be helpful. Then he changed his mind completely and became a radical masker! ”

Donald J. Trump was right about:

– Dr. Fauci
– China
– The World Health Organization

The Democrats were WRONG about all of this.

Fauci does damage control

With more and more questions about the origins of the coronavirus and how much China was involved, Fauci now appears to be in damage control mode.

Fauci now says that an email he received last year from an EcoHealth Alliance executive was “misinterpreted”. EcoHealth Alliance funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

CNN says that an email Fauci received last April thanked him for publicly declaring that “scientific evidence supports a natural origin of the coronavirus and not a laboratory approval.”

During a Thursday interview with CNN, Fauci was asked what he could say to those who think they are too comfortable with the people behind the research at the Wuhan lab. Fauci’s reply: “This is nonsense, I don’t even see how you can get it out of this email.”

“I have always said, and will tell you today, John, that I still believe that the most likely origin of any animal species is human, but I am perfectly open to the fact that if there could be other origins, there may be another reason it could have been a laboratory leak, ”said Fauci.

The origins of the virus are still unknown.

Media are now returning to laboratory leak theory

While the media has been busy labeling Donald Trump and those who agreed with him as “conspiracy theorists” for advancing the theory that the COVID virus may have leaked from a laboratory, it now appears to be changing their mood.

ABC News’ Jon Karl was absolutely amazed that something Donald Trump said could be true.

While speaking with Martha Raddatz on Sunday morning, Karl said that he thinks “a lot of people have balls on their faces”. He added, “This was an idea first suggested by Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State, [and] President Donald Trump, and some things may be true even if Donald Trump said them. “

The New York Times reporter David Leonhardt told CNN that the media “jumped to dismiss the theory,” also because it came from Donald Trump and also from Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR).

Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin didn’t hold back. In a series of tweets, he called on the media for exactly what they were doing.

Most MSM reporters did not “ignore” the laboratory leak theory, they actively fiddled with it for over a year while pretending to be objective, from a toxic mix of confirmation bias, source bias (their scientific sources lied to them), Group thinking, TDS and general incompetence.

The theory of the laboratory leak has not changed either. It didn’t suddenly become believable. It didn’t jump from crazy to sensible. The theory was always the same. The people who got it wrong changed their minds. You write about yourself without any self-esteem.

All of these reporters struggling to defend their own record of the laboratory leak theory are exposing their own hypocrisy and ignoring its fundamental flaw. Just report the facts. Don’t pretend it’s your job to tell us what to think or talk about. Stand by if you fail your readers.

President Trump’s second statement was in part: “China should pay America and the world ten trillion dollars for the death and destruction they caused!”
