DraftKings partnership with Boost Mobile marks pit stop on Roadmap to Hell

I spend an inordinate amount of time in the company of DraftKings.

And now that I’ve put this in and pondered it for a second, it makes me question some of my life choices. Seriously: After “Sleeping”, “Working” and “Time with the Family”, DraftKings took a solid fourth place for the time spent. For me it’s mostly doing DFS lineups, but it’s also about playing the daily casino specials and checking the odds and placing a bet or two or four (teenagers).

There are a number of asterisks that make this possible, including the introduction of Virginia (in 2021 when awareness of legal sports betting was far higher than the states introduced in 2018 or 2019) and how it was introduced (with Online betting first, as compared to other states that had mediocre retail numbers to begin with).

Still, Virginia took more than $ 865.2 million in wagering in its first three months and is on hold to break the billion dollar mark in month five and break a record currently held by Tennessee and Action achieved in the sixth month of regulation 10 digits.

Illinois is about to remove carveout for sports betting in state schools

It went to overtime, and then a little longer after that. But Illinois bettors are about to place legal bets on games that involve state teams – with some conditions.

SB 521 was passed in the House of Representatives on Tuesday with a three-fifths majority because it did not come to the vote before midnight. Rep.
