British teenager Jessica Gadirova won her second medal in two days at the European Gymnastics Championships in Switzerland.
The 16-year-old added silver to the all-round bronze won on Friday in the vault.
There were also bronzes for her teammate Amelie Morgan on the uneven bars and Joe Fraser on the pommel horse.
“I’m just a newbie and the gymnasts I am against are legends. They are amazing to compete with,” said Gadirova.
“And even more amazing to be on the podium next to them.”
Morgan, who finished fourth in the all-round race, was the first gymnast in the bars final and had to wait eagerly for her medal to be secured.
But her total of 14,100 was enough, and gold went to Russian Angelina Melnikova (14,500) and compatriot Vladislava Urozova (14,333), who took silver
Gadirova had led the Vault qualification, but in the final, three-time European Champion Giuila Steingruber from Switzerland increased her difficulty to take the title again at the last minute, with a score of 14,824 with Gadirova on 14,466.
Fraser was the penultimate gymnast to compete in the pommel horse final, and his 14,066 score was enough for bronze. The Armenian Artur Davtyan won gold (14,266) and Nikita Nagornyy from Russia won silver with the same number of points.
Fraser’s GB teammate and City of Birmingham clubmate Joshua Nathan finished seventh Ireland’s Rhys McClenaghan finished fifth.
