We know it’s Mario Day and all, but we just want to say – why is Mario getting his own LEGO set, but the vastly superior Legend of Zelda series is trying hard to get one of their fan-made designs past the review phase LEGO HQ? It’s a travesty, is what it is.
Maybe it’s for the best, because we can’t imagine an official LEGO Zelda set better than the one that Matthias Bartsch made. His latest is the Temple of Time by Ocarina of Time, which features tiny replicas of the master sword and the spiritual stones that open the door of time.
In the past, Bartsch also built the bell tower from Majora’s mask with rotating dials and the Gods Wind Waker tower, which you can make canonically accurate by placing it in the bathtub.
You can find building instructions on Bartsch’s Flickr page, as well as a ton of detailed photos of all of the builds he’s made so far.
