The world may get stuck indoors right now, but it has little impact on the creativity of Minecraft players. In the past year we have seen various projects that fill the gap of not being able to go outdoors. A content creator recreated Mount Everest on a 1: 1 scale to be climbed in four hours – infinite stamina and a lack of environmental concerns seem to help. However, now someone has put together a 1: 1 replica of the Monza F1 track – aka Autodromo Nazionale Monza if you fancy it.
It’s a great build, but my favorite part is the builder’s solution to the lack of cars in the building game. If you go on this route it will be on a small boat. The build was passed on to Reddit by ScurrMinatorYT, who show it off with a quick lap while driving its fastest boat. Another commenter shared the numbers, noting that the boat was traveling at an average speed of 200 km / h – this is a brisk ship.
ScurrMinatorYT explains that it took him about 50 hours to put the whole thing together and that the road is about 2,000 blocks long. If you’re wondering how the boat moves so fast, it is thanks to a package of textures that turns ice gray.
Unfortunately, the map is currently not downloadable, but ScurrMinatorYT hopes to have it when their Minecraft Marketplace partnership is granted. For what it’s worth, the map is based on Minecraft’s Bedrock Edition.
In the meantime, however, you can check it out below:
I made a 1: 1 scale replica of the Monza F1 track. You can ride them on boats too! from Minecraft
There are also many other nifty projects going on right now. Europe has been made a fully playable Minecraft map, and one guy turned Google Earth into Mojang’s old PC game.
