Bridgerton has caused a storm across all social media platforms. The Netflix show is a slippery romantic drama starring Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page. Just like with Gossip Girl, the ultimate puzzle revolves around who really is the inside ‘Lady Whistledown’. The makers gave an important tip at the beginning of the season and we all missed it. But don’t worry, Nicola Coughlan is now bringing this to our attention.

Spoilers Ahead – By the end of season one, we all know it’s Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola, who is actually Lady Whistledown. It is not yet known whether this identity will be revealed to other characters in Season 2. However, the creators had hinted at the identity at the beginning, and we could have easily found it.

Nicola Coughlan grabbed her Twitter handle and teased all of her Bridgerton fans. She wrote, “Ok, I’m just curious, did anyone spot the massive Easter egg over Penelope in the very first scene of Bridgerton? The actress also shared a video of herself on her character avatar.

The Bridgerton star gave another clue as fans stormed the comment section with speculation. Nicola Coughlan continued, “When I was shooting Penelope’s first scene, I chose a prop, a massive massive feather that looked very similar:”

Many fans quickly deciphered the fact that she was talking about the feather. When a user asked her the same thing, Nicola replied, “thing thing thing thing !!”
